Request for support

The panel will be chaired by a Head of Provision from the Mid Team, supported by fellow Mid Team Heads and IP/EP, Head/SENCO from local schools and Education Access team. Collectively, they provide extensive expertise to ensure the effective use of alternative provision places in Mid Essex.

In-reach support and/or signposting

In-reach support enables staff from the requesting school to visit the Partnership Provision to observe effective practice, develop their knowledge and understanding, and identify strategies that can be incorporated into their own setting. The provision can also facilitate one observation visit to further support implementation

 Outreach support

Outreach support is designed around the specific needs of the child and school. This may include observations, direct intervention with the pupil, and guidance, coaching, or mentoring for staff. A personalised outreach plan will be agreed jointly and delivered to support positive outcomes. Support will commence following completion of an Outreach Agreement

A short-term, partnership placement in an SEMH Partnership Provision.

A time-limited placement within the SEMH Partnership Provision, conditional upon the completion of a Partnership Agreement, with progress and impact to be formally reviewed after an agreed period.
