GROW is funded by the Essex local authority, it is dedicated to supporting children facing social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges. Many of these children have experienced early childhood trauma and/or ADHD. Our approach prioritizes collaboration, as we work closely with referring schools and families to develop a comprehensive support network tailored to each pupil's unique needs.
Through individualised interventions and resources, GROW aims to foster emotional resilience and promote positive social interactions. GROW staff are highly skilled using Trauma Perceptive Practice (TPP) and use a variety of strategies to help children understand and manage their emotions, build confidence, and enhance their overall well-being. By creating a nurturing environment and incorporating the perspectives of both families and schools, we strive to empower these children to thrive both academically and socially.
The GROW team plays a vital role in supporting schools and children across Mid Essex who are facing challenges in their educational settings. Their mission is to foster positive growth and development by providing tailored support to students, schools and their staff.
With a focus on holistic development and emotional well-being, the GROW team is committed to ensuring that children in Mid Essex have access to the support they need to succeed, both academically and personally. Through our efforts, we contribute to building resilient, inclusive, and thriving school communities.
