Swimming Lessons
As part of the curriculum swimming lessons are offered to all children in Years 3 and 5 as we would like all children to be able to swim efficiently before they leave Lyons Hall Primary School in Year 6. The sessions will be running for approximately 7 – 10 weeks for each year group and will be advised the term before they start. They are held at our local swimming pool in Braintree and the children are taken to and from the swimming pool by a local reputable coach company each week.
A letter will be sent out at least two weeks prior to lessons taking place detailing which year group will be swimming, dates of lessons, the cost of these lessons and what the children are required to wear and take with them. Information regarding lessons will also be advertised on our weekly newsletter.
