MESSAGE FROM THE ECTP LEAD
I am the Early Career Teacher Training Programme (ECTP) Lead based at Lyons Hall Primary School in Braintree.
Thank you for your interest in our Training Programme delivered under the Ambition Delivery Partner heading of UNITYTSH-PLN Partnership.
Professional Learning Network (PLN) is the training arm of Lyons Hall Primary School which has a long-term reputation of delivering high quality Professional Development serving Essex and surrounding areas. We work in partnership with UNITY Teaching School Hub which covers the Ambition programme delivery in Suffolk.
At Lyons Hall we are also part of the Research School’s Network using evidence-based learning to improve teaching practice supported by the Education Endowment Foundation. Our research informed practice complements the Ambition Training Programme design. We also deliver the Ambition NPQ’s and our own programmes offering Professional Development beyond the ECTP.
We have a team of highly experienced facilitators delivering the ECTP programme which includes myself co-delivering all Conferences. It is important to me as Lead to get to know your participants and your school context and promote active engagement and networking, so our Conferences have a maximum group size of 30. Our ultimate aim is to work in partnership with you to support the success of your Early Career Teachers.
