‍RESEARCH SCHOOL

Essex Research School is based at Lyons Hall Primary School, which is one of three schools which make up the Learning Pathways Academy.

Our school’s vision has always been for all children to become successful learners and break the link between family income and educational achievement. To this end, our school and trust strategy has been to find and engage with research evidence that we can implement and share with schools across and region and beyond.

As a Research School our core purpose is to:

• Translate and share the most up-to-date evidence-based classroom practice in order to make it accessible for all.

• Support the implementation of evidence-based practice by collaborating and forming deeper partnerships with schools.

• Provide evidence-based training and professional development to school practitioners.

• We are proud to be part of the Research Schools Network and passionate about being able to promote and exemplify evidence-based practice.
